Canada experience! 4-5-12

The camp was so cool, we had a lot of of fun because we knew new people from other parts of the world and we were not very boring. We made hiking, BBQs, a trip in canoe..

... and Harry before going, solicited a permition for fish in the lake, and he tried to teach me, but I didn't take any fish, I think is a very difficult activity, but he took five salmons!! You could see the fishes in the limpid water and of a beautiful blue that looks like brilliant because of the substances dissolved on it and by the sun's reflection. The truth is that it looks unreal.

The last day I swim in the water. Althought the sun was shining deeply, and the air wasn't cold, when I get out of the water I was frozen... but the bath was great :)

Now I'm again at home in San Antonio, the travel was tiresome but I loved it.

Canada experience! 1-5-12

Home, sweet, home!!
I just arrived of an awesome long weekend of 6 days. Harry's boss entrusted him a work outside of San Antonio, and he could carry his family, so basically... we are in Canada!

We went in airplane: It was very early when we go out so I felt asleep. When the airplane was landing the Sun has appeared.

The first and the second days we were all the time in a hotel very near the office while Harry made his work, but those were the only days that we had to stay there because the rest of the time we went to camp in a beautiful lake call Lake Peyto, with other groups of tourist and some nice guides.

The Lake Peyto is situated in Banff National Park, in the Estate of Alberta. In class I'm studying the relief and its modelling so while travelling I was explaining Jason the cration of the glacier because he doesn't study biology: the consecuence of the slow movement of the glacier has been the creation of cavities in the land and a restribution of the different materials that it found in the way (not doing a classification of them like wind can do). And with the temperature's changes with the time, the water that use to form the glacier has been melted and it stayed in the cavities shaping this incredible lake.

This landscape is amazing!

I'm very tired today : I'll write tomorrow and continue with my adventure ;)

San Antonio experience 19-4-12

It was a productive evening :P

We had to wait til they were ready so we couldn't eat it, but Jason give us the best new in those moments, he was going to buy pizzas!!

We were talking and Jason told us that the next week will be his birthday...
Now you guess what my plans are for the next week ;)

San Antonio experience 5-4-12

The last week was very normal, going to school, doing homeworks, updating me in class... but then, the weekend arrived!!

I finally know which was the misterious plan, we went to San Antonio's zoo!
It was a nice experience although it was hot and we ended up tired.
Jason took a lot of photos and I decided my favourite is this:

Love this beautiful and adorable animal :)

We saw lot of species of fauna and flora so it was very interesting to know them.
We also did a kind of picnic with our own food so we make some sandwiches before go (they were really good).

And for end this weekend, my friend Katherine invite me to her house. We had a great time seeing Grease and my conclusion is that she sings so bad as myself ;)

San Antonio experience 26-3-12

The last friday I arrived to San Antonio in Texas, and I'm going to stay here for 3 months approximately. I live with a lovely family, Harry and Danielle, the parents, and his son Jason, who has my age. They are very nice persons so I think I'm going to have a good time here.

The house where I live is in the south of the main square of San Antonio, not far away of it. It's very beautiful and comfortable, and also has a big garden which I can see from my room's window.

I took this weekend for adapt me at this new place and buy what I need for the school. Jason has helped me showing me the surroundings and introducing me to his friends when he met with them for play basketball, and then we all were invited to a delicious barbecue, something typical in Texas, in Katherine's house, one of the friends that i did, and she is in my class at the high school! :D
Katherine is very funny and I don't know what I would have done without her today at the first day in the high school, I was very lost...

I have a lot of plans for the next weekend: my new friends have promised me something that I will like a lot, very misterious, maybe a bit of tourism , and I have contacted with some students from Canary Islands who are here and we are planning to going out together one day. :)
